FLOWIDUS
Born just prior to the early 90’s rise of drum & bass, producers Raphael (based in Raglan, New Zealand) and Garo (based in Perth, Australia) have rooted their sound in the form, both as solo artists, and now collaboratively. Their combined passion for good vibes, and being able to share that with their fans was what defined their stage name FLOWIDUS, with both producers being quoted as saying “when people see us or hear our music, we want them to feel a part of it.”
Alongside their standalone productions, reworks for artists such as DC Breaks broke into the Beatport top 10 while also gaining extensive support from the likes of Friction, Pendulum and Andy C to name a few. Their second EP “Footsteps” was released shortly after their tour which has seen regular support across BBC Radio 1, George FM and their track “Kids in The Club” entered in at 9th on the NZ Hot20 Singles Charts. Marking a milestone for Flowidus as it was their first commercial radio charting.
After successful simultaneous shows in Europe at Liquicity festival, Hospitality on The Beach and across New Zealand, it was time to finish off the remaining releases for the year, with their single ‘Said & Done’ featuring fellow Raglan local Reiki Ruawai holding the spot of #1 most requested track on George FM for 5 consecutive weeks. They then finished off the year with a whirlwind NZ festival tour with performances at Northern Bass, Rhythm & Vines and Bay Dreams.
Despite having to cancel their 2020 UK/EU tour due to COVID, Raph & Garo’s unique position of being simultaneously based in both Raglan and Perth, has seen them sell out shows across the Tasman;; at Studio in Auckland and Metro City in Perth, as well as a string of other shows across New Zealand. With an ever growing profile across the globe and a solid list of festival and club performances locked in across Australia & New Zealand for the remainder of the year, there is no doubt the name Flowidus will be echoed through the Drum & Bass cosmos, setting the scene for an even bigger 2021 for the lads.
V O E
V O E are the next installment of the Drum and Bass contagion, taking the world by storm with their addictive out of this world sound.
Carving their names into the scene with their latest releases including ‘Not thinking Straight’ with Telomic on Liquicity, ‘Tunnel Vision’ on Blackout Music as well as ‘Regret & Repeat’ & ‘Let You In’ on Australian born Global League. Breaking the mould of what you have come to expect from the pair and turning the mood from heightened dysphoria to dance floor stomping, opening doors to support from influential artists Koven, Ordure & Black Sun Empire.
V O E are known for designing complex cinematic instrumentals and hard-hitting vocals that surpass expectations of what it means to be enveloped by sound and emotion. Surrendering all inhibitions and exposing their own identities allowing weaknesses and vulnerability to set the foundations of a vocal strong hold.
2020 has seen V O E captivating a worldwide audience as winners of Koven and NCS’s Track and Build 2.0 competition landing them a composition and sync opportunity with Huey Games, Jagermeister & LabelRadar.
Simultaneously taking out a top 5 spot on Black Sun Empires Remix competition, the duo continue to deliver a feast of new music with heart wrenching, dynamic vocals and addictive melodies combined with bass heavy drops while taking on the International music scene with upcoming releases on Viper, Liquicity, RAM, ProtoCode & Blackout Music.
Now is the time to discover their sonance.
Now is the time for V O E.
